Beach Cities Masonic Lodge is proud to present the E.F. “Dinty” Mohr College Scholarship fund. Scholarships are awarded to graduating high school seniors who will be attending an accredited two or four year institution of higher learning, such as a college or vocational school, as a full-time undergraduate student. Annual awards are $1,000 per student.

New applications for this year’s graduating seniors are due by April 1, 2007. Applications can be obtained from your high school scholarship administrator.

The deadline to re-apply for returning applicants is April 10, 2007.

To re-apply for another year’s award, you must meet the following requirements:

1. You must submit a letter indicating your desire to continue the scholarship. The letter must include a list of the courses you are planning to take in the upcoming semester.
2. You must submit a certified copy of your transcript for the current year.
3. Your major field of study must be in a standard academic field.
4. Your course load must be a minimum of 12 units.
5. Your grade point average (GPA) must be 3.0 or better on a 4.0 grading scale.

Renewal of your scholarship is not guaranteed.
